It takes him a few minutes to come back to reality. "Cinderella!" He gets down on his knees and opens his arms. "Love!"
The cat's ears perk up, and a second later she's coming for him, big leaps until she's in his lap, purring like a small machine. "Cinderella. Oh God don't ever terrify me like that again, please. You stupid cat."
